Colin Derrick ABA Finalist (Repton) Bethnal Green DOB 8/6/60

I am researching a number of boxers with the intention of writing a book. I am having trouble locating one..Colin Derrick.
Colin was an ABA Finalist in 1978 whilst boxing for Repton. He was resident in Bethnal Green and went on to box pro with Micky Duff from 1980 - 1983 at welterweight. After a shock points defeat to Joey Mack he never boxed again.
I've heard one or two stories but have struggled to substantiate them.
I have even had conversations with a Russian who worked with him in the hotel industry in Blackpool!! (Not sure how he ended up there)
If you know of any stories relating to him, or know any family members or friends I would really appreciate your help as i'm hitting a brick wall at the moment.
