I dont think Froch is the same fighter mentally that he was when he was an amateur. McCracken has worked on the confidence in quite a big way. Also I imagine training with the GB set up, he has access to sports psychologists, etc if he wants it.

people aren't saying its a master plan. However it could be enough to just give carl something else to think about come fight time. I still think Carl in 6, but if he is there and groves pulls off the upset they look like a genius in the mind games, if he loses its just what the majority expects.
