Quigg just knocked some fella out in 2 rounds to get some kind of title.

Gets beaten handily, I imagine.SouthpawStephen wrote:First time seeing Quigg. How does he fare against Rigo and Santa Cruz?

That was confusing.. the title nonsense I mean.Lenny Cravats wrote:Quigg just knocked some fella out in 2 rounds to get some kind of title.
He was interim champ, than had a draw when fighting for the vacant? full belt... but somehow came away with the full belt.

Wow Naseem Hamed looks so fat. Looking at him right now you could never guess he was a boxer once. He looks like a corner store shop owner.

I think he was promoted to full champion before that draw. Personally, I felt he won that fight by a couple of rounds.JCS wrote:That was confusing.. the title nonsense I mean.Lenny Cravats wrote:Quigg just knocked some fella out in 2 rounds to get some kind of title.

I got 8/11 odds. $200 to win $345 so my potential win fall is $145..DetroitHxC wrote:What are the odds?Baby Face Finster wrote:I sure hope so. I got $200 on him to win by stoppage or DQ.DetroitHxC wrote:Froch in 5.

It's early, but Groves is looking the champion here. I said Groves would give a good account of himself, but I didn't think he'd look dominant at any stage.
Good job Froch has warrior spirit, he's going to need it all if he wants to pull this out.

Re: Froch/Groves
Froch is acting like he has a big tumor on his chest when he punches. They're either shooting out the side or they're really wide and awkward looking.. almost like it's hurting him to punch.

Really entertaining so far, Groves is starting to swell around the eye.
Froch had a good spell, but Groves has taken all 3 on my card.

I think most people expected the younger Groves to come on strong...lets wait till the second half when Froch usually comes on.
Can Groves sustain it?

3-0 Groves +1 for the knockdowns. (30-26)
Froch's best punches in clinch, while holding and hitting. Dirty as usual.
