Mundine v Mosely II
Is this fight getting any promo at all? Are tickets selling? Does Mosely have an airticket out of here booked for the day of the weighin?
Re: Mundine v Mosely II
Things are touch quiet & not listed on this site, which should've been by today.

is there betting on if he'll flee the country again? lol
Anthony may have to fight him on the tarmac at mascot airport :)

Re: Mundine v Mosely II
The undercard is very very ordinary, with the majority of bouts yet to be filled with only a week to go - not a good look for the paying public.
And then we have the circus event with cousin Blake taking on a complete novice.
Mundine, like his bar at Hurstville, is past his used by date!

Mundine, like his bar in Hurstville, will get bombed.

People are so unkind as the URL says it all about previous shenanigans from the Mundine camp:

Re: Mundine v Mosely II
i just hope we don,t get a result like the Jones v Green, very dubious, Mosely has nothing to gain by beating Mundine, and he has already been paid, follow Jeff around and see where his money goes,Mosely should stop Mundine if it is fair dinkum, anyway the jihadists will have to find another bar to drink at if mundine wins
all the best

the smart money knew who was going to get the nod,Jones had no need to let it go anylonger
he was already paid, went back home and lost nothing in the ratings,Sook? did you learn that at school today
all the best

Re: Mundine v Mosely II
If the fight goes the distance then I would not be surprised to see a MD that could go either way, do I think Mundine is that good - NO.
Re: Mundine v Mosely II
jones was bashed fair and square.
no conspiracy.
only cry babies can't admit it.
if u dropped the hate u would see.

Re: Mundine v Mosely II
What was dubious about Green punching Roy Jones senseless inside the first round. Jones had no complaints whatsoever in the ring after the decision. He just got jumped and pumped and knew it.patron wrote:i just hope we don,t get a result like the Jones v Green, very dubious, Mosely has nothing to gain by beating Mundine, and he has already been paid, follow Jeff around and see where his money goes,Mosely should stop Mundine if it is fair dinkum, anyway the jihadists will have to find another bar to drink at if mundine winsall the best

Re: Mundine v Mosely II
not true, but nobody cares anyway.
Re: Mundine v Mosely II
I think Mundine has a good chance to win this. Mosley has always struggled with taller fighters who fight at a distance (Forrest, Winky) I also think Mosley is more shot than Mundine. Mundine is still somewhat top class, having only just lost a competitive but clear decision to Geale. My money is on Mundine for this fight (even though he isnt the favorite)
Re: Mundine v Mosely II
The undercard for this fight is horrible. At least the original undercard was a bit stronger.
Re: Mundine v Mosely II
Mundine doesn't care if he serves a dross undercard, as this fight to him is about feeding his ego, and not giving the paying public something of value.
This legend in his own lunchtime, is now claiming it is all about his legacy in boxing and rugby league. Really about time he stepped into the room of mirrors and accepted that his legacy is just an empire of straw!

Re: Mundine v Mosely II
Someone earlier posted that Blake Ferguson is fighting on the Mundine-mosley undercard and implied that this was a mismatch. To the best of my knowledge Blake Ferguson is also a complete novice and for the life of me I cannot see him fighting a novice as a mismatch.
Also a lot of people have been criticizing the undercard for the show but to the matchmaker's defense it is very hard to suddenly come up with a great undercard when your original main event and undercard was canceled and the undercard fighters, as is their right, took on other flights.
Let's be realistic, the only fight we really are interested in is the main event. Nobody ever remembers the undercard of any major fight.
I'm looking forward to this flight as I believe it is worthy of a five star rating as we have two experienced veterans who have got everything to lose if they suffer a defeat . this is what makes for a great fight.
Look forward to seeing you all at the fight.
cheers
Lou

Maybe Sportsbet know something. They've quoted Ferguson at $1-15 and Luke Turner at $4-60.loulewis wrote:Someone earlier posted that Blake Ferguson is fighting on the Mundine-mosley undercard and implied that this was a mismatch. Maybe Turner is a 45yr old midget.
You're easily pleased if you rate this as a 5 star event.
Mundine is so desperate he has put $1 million on the line to secure a fight with a 42yr old past his prime future Hall of Famer who is reportedly currently valued at around $200,000 per fight in the USA.
Trying to talk this up is like flogging a dead horse.
Team Boxa will be lucky to break even on this one.
I hope the undercard fighters do the right thing and chip in to help Australia's greatest sportsman in his hour of need.
I've got money on you Sugar. Knock the posturing clown out.
Re: Mundine v Mosely II
I agree its hard to get an undercard together on short notice, but hey, it wasnt a good undercard when it was first scheduled, none of mundines have ever had a good undercrad....loulewis wrote:Someone earlier posted that Blake Ferguson is fighting on the Mundine-mosley undercard and implied that this was a mismatch. As for Ferguson, I couldn't care less who he fights. He is of no interest to me whatsoever.
The excuses you make may have some merit, but if so, the promoter should acknowledge the lack of quality and reduce the price for the PPV. I just paid 39.95 for a card that read:
Pac v Rios
Dibb v Evgeny Grad
Ruiz v Hamer
and a gold medalist olypiam
and i though that was but steep. Yet, Boxa will want $50 to watch mundine v mosley and a bunch of amatuers......please
Re: Mundine v Mosely II
Since the fight is almost here -- any word on live ticket sales?
Re: Mundine v Mosely II
16 tickets sold :)
