Did anyone else find the thing before the fight with Richie and Johnny in the ring cringeworthy?

It was a time filler. The bouts were finishing way ahead of schedule and Sky were pulling out all stops to stick to 10.45 for the fight. God forbid they should lose any late buyers.

Surely they could tell that there was going to be a lot of knockouts based on how shit the undercard fights were.

Nobody expected Fielding to win in the first or Yafai to have his fight pulled. It happens, just like it did at The Copperbox but the other way round.

I didn't mind, as I was waiting for the snooker to finish. Ronnie was potting the last few balls just as the National Anthem was on.
