Wowsers I think you are right there. Alexander goes to the corner and says 'stop it' and shakes his head. Then they are trying to call the ref then they go "woah wait!".

Gota be incredibly gutted if you're Purdy seeing this.

Ive just watched that about 9 or 10 times, and i dont think its that clear that he said "they" and then why would the corner call the ref ????? hmmmmmm....

Even if it was the case though it was because he'd broken his hand/s. It wasnt because he couldnt handle Purdy. He'd already proceeded to beat him up for the duration of the fight.

Yep, a win's a win though. Poor Purdy is all i can say, must be devo'ed as end of the day he'd have got another big fight at least out of it.

Personally i'm happy it didnt end up like that though as Brook vs Purdy for the vacant title would be about as interesting as paint dry in terms of competitiveness.

Alexander spots Purdy's corner was pulling him out and said to his corner man 'they stopping it'

His corner man turns around says 'it's over with' then is not sure and says 'hold hold wait', before realising they are in fact pulling him out.
