If Choc is serious (dont laugh!!)

Post by amwsnw »

OK, now everyone has stopped laughing at my topic, a serious question:
Where does Mundine go from here ? Besides the answer "who cares" I must admit he was displaying a pretty attractive style against Shane and was landing well, and that is a rare compliment from me. If this victory did anything for Anthony on the world scale he should immediately request a bout with Cano or the winner of Lara v Trout. If not it was an absolute waste of time for him (which doesn't surprise me).

He already side-stepped a fight with Trout once.
It's extremely unlikely that Mundine will take a fight with any top boxer in the near weight divisions.
A shot fighter with a big name?
Absolutely if he can find more of them.

They say he's in talks with Carlos Molina for a fight next year, but will end up fighting Ishe smith or Cornelius Bundrage next .Wouldn't be bad a fight with Ishe or Bundrage to get ur name out in the usa.

Another shot fighter with a big name is most likely. Nasser prefers soft targets for Mundine. That's why they have avoided nearly every step up opportunity that has presented itself.

Anyone have any idea who Choc is fighting in late january? I have heard rumours including daniel dawson and an American but it has gone very quiet.

Our Man has claimed that he is looking for aspirants that belong within the top 15 rankings in the various alphabetic soup of boxing organisations.

The taxi ranks are now being perused in a relentless fashion, to find a suitable palooka!

After checking out the local taxi ranks for opponents, our Man is rumoured to have cast his net further afield to snare a stiff at such short notice.
