All this about him outboxing Stevenson, when has Bellew ever shown superior boxing skills against quality opposition? The 'masterclass' versus McKenzie in the second contest? Beating a shop worn McIntosh who was never that good to start with?

There is nothing in Bellew's resume to suggest he has a hope in hell of beating Stevenson, he'll be lucky to last 3 rounds with him.

Got to say i agree with this. Judging his skills at world level, Bellew is upright, one paced, predictable and has questionable stamina, without the turn around punch to negate these deficiencies.
Despite the way it's later been portrayed, Cloud did actually turn up and give it a half decent go against Stevenson, tried to get the jab going, control the distance and force the action at times.
Adonis pretty much toyed with him - he dictated the range of the fight with his fast footwork and blasted him with power shots at will - and i'd say Cloud is better than Bellew in every department - more experience at world level, more athletic and better skills.

Stevenson looks absolutely full of confidence, and Bellew looks completely made for him to put on a devastating performance, think it could be a similar kind of fight to Clev-Kovalev - with our guy on the wrong end of a hiding

Bloody hell. Bomber must have brought up Stevenson's murky past, that he did time for beating and imprisoning two girls while running a brothel.

Ive seen reports that a lot of that is a load of bollocks though. According to a friend of Stevenson's he was never a pimp and he didnt beat up on the girls. Apparantly he was a bodyguard for the gang because of the fact he was a boxer and he can look after himself and so on but that the prosecution pinned the whole case on him. You also have to remember he was 19 or so when that happened and he's 36 now with a wife and two young kids.

I'm glad you exposed the myth about the Cloud fight, Bellew kicking off at the weigh in, no surprise there he always gives in the biggun, like he did in the first fight against Chilemba and stunk the place out.

Well his friend would say that wouldn't he. Check this and you'll see his own promoter admits he was beating girls.

Stevenson has a criminal past, so has Martin Murray the guy turned his life around, as did Martin Murray, the past is the past it will have no bearing on tomorrow's fight.

The weigh-in between Adonis Stevenson and Tony Bellew turned into a near riot has both fighters had to be held back. The melee erupted after Bellew called Stevenson “a pimp” and brought up Stevenson’s violent involvement in a prostitution ring that led to jail time over a decade ago. RDS quoted Bellew as saying, “Tell his victims to watch HBO Saturday night. I’ll give him the beating of his life and avenge his victims, I promise you!”

You also need to bear in mind that English is not his first language as well, this is the guy that Froch avoided because he knew he was dangerous, if they had met it would've been the first time Froch has been KO'd.

I think it's a bit classless from Tony to be honest. Dont get me wrong, it's smart tactic in that it might make Stevenson more reckless than usual but on the same token there was talk before that maybe Stevenson has underestimated Tony and might not be fully at the races and Bellew could pull it off. If anything Stevenson is probably going to be more motivated than ever! .... Ps this was the last guy to of brought up Stevenson's past pre fight http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laB4Y5ev3d0

Bellew seems to be doing his usual of getting way worked up before a fight! It seemed in the build up to this one that he hadnt done that aswell which was a pleasant surprise because that cant really help your performance I would of thought.

I don't see many people banging on about Murrays past, other than to complain when he didn't get a visa for the Chavez fight
