Yeah he's broken his back in a couple of places and damaged his spine while posted abroad with the RAF; it wasn't done in action. I was surprised to find out that the help for heros hospital caters for the recovery of any member of the armed forces as well as the injured war veterans, and its a big relief to people that they know he will be looked after properly and get the best care, originally the diagnosis wasnt good but things have improved since being moved to the forces hospital so fingers crossed he can make a full recovery after a couple of years.columbo wrote:

apparently just a bad fall and hit his spine very badly which broke a couple of vertebra, one in 3 pieces causing one of the pieces to partially sever a part of his spinal cord.columbo wrote:That's great to hear!Finn wrote:Yeah he's broken his back in a couple of places and damaged his spine while posted abroad with the RAF; it wasn't done in action. Bit mad when they are in the forces you expect them to get injured in action or an IED he was just about to head out to Afghanistan as well.
