Re: Kovalev/Sillakh
Hopkins has far too much wit to fight that beast. He'd get brutalized.
Re: Kovalev/Sillakh
He would in spurts, but I don't think he'd be able to do it enough to win the fight. I'd expect Kovalev to win a 116-112 type decision. Hopkins is tough and crafty as hell, and I'd never count him completely out of a fight, but I don't think he'd be able to keep up a pace necessary to outbox Kovalev every step of the way at this point in his career, and he'd be losing a lot of rounds by eating the heavier shots and being outworked.BarryWashington wrote:@ Gilgamesh
I'm thinking Hopkins would still be able to control and out wit Kovalev
Re: Kovalev/Sillakh
I don't know if I'd go that far, he's crafty as hell and I get the feeling he'd be able to do enough to survive if nothing else. Considering Pascal dropped him twice (albeit with flash knockdowns), and stunned him pretty good in the rematch though. It's definitely not out of the question.DetroitHxC wrote:Hopkins couldn't take that kind of power.
I think Kovalev is a significantly bigger puncher than Pascal.
