Re: Marvelous - The Marvin Hagler Story
Is it true that Hagler is only 5'7"?
Re: Marvelous - The Marvin Hagler Story
Thank you to those of you who have taken the time and trouble to buy the Hagler biography which I have written. It is much appreciated, as are the positive reviews which have been sent to us.
I wanted to write and let you know that the book has now been released on Kindle too. You can buy the hardback or Kindle, here:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Marvelous-Marvi ... ds=haggler
Happy reading.
Cheers
Damian

very goodFinal round wrote:palooka wrote: It was bald, shiny and black; what else could I think?Viagra makers Pfizer had to create a pill just for Marvin Hagler to stop him being rock hard 25hrs a day.
Re: Marvelous - The Marvin Hagler Story
I enjoyed the book.
With boxing books they tend to be split into chapters based around fights, so naturally it's tempting to dip straight into a particular chapter and that's typically how I read boxing books, in some sort of random order.
I found it confusing with this book as the Minter fight is right at the start of book!

The Lonsdale club organised his birthday party, they need a reliable guy to drive him, show him round london, etc., hence 'Looking after him'. took him to stringfellows 1 night, Naz was in there as well!!, Naz loved it when I introduced him to Marvin,ERIC GUY wrote:Marvin doesn't look like he needs looked after, does he?Tomasino wrote:]what do you mean by 'looked after' eric?ERIC GUY wrote:He used to come over here a few years back, I looked after him for 5 days whilst the Lonsdale club put on a dinner show for him, great guy
Ralph, you know what I do, stupid question really,[/quote]
Sounds good.
