On boxrecs, it shows Shavers date of birth as 31st August 1945.
However, in Shavers autobiography, he states his d.o.b as 31st August 1944. Also, you show him beating Jimmy Young on a TKO 3. Again, in Shavers book, which has his ring record in the back, it shows him winning by a 1st round KO(19th feb 1973)

Also, according to his fights running up to the Ali fight in 1977, Boxrecs shows 19 1st round wins, but in Shavers book, this comes to 21 first round wins.
I know his d.o.b in his book is correct, as he was two years younger than Ali when he fought him in 77 (making him 33 years old). by boxcrec - this would make him 3 years younger than Ali going into the bout.

Boxrec isn't always accurate, but then neither are some books. For years boxrec kept screwing up George Foreman's DOB, but I think they've got it right now.
