Roberto Duran
Alexis Arguello
Manny Pacquiao
Julio Cesar Chavez
Kid Gavilan
Jose Napoles
Salvador Sanchez
Kostya Tszyu
Azumah Nelson
Naseem Hamed
Marco Antonio Barrera
Erik Morales

The list could go on for pages.

All in all that statement is fuckin bull shiit.
Nice list, but my question wasn't which fighter have been accepted. I asked if it's harder to be accepted.

That's just plain stupid. Of course it's harder. Most of their fights aren't in the states, so how is it not? It's a nit like saying Jonathon Banks found it as easy in Germany as Axel Shultz did.

The Klitschkos are successful, but boring and aren't on American TV all the time. If they were American, they would be. If you can't see that, you are blind.

What a polite way to talk to someone. Especially after you post another list of boxers and not bothered even attempting to discuss the Klitschkos.

That was the original question to which you have now changed it to just the Klitschkos
No. My original questions was 'I wonder how people would think of Wlad and Vitali, if they were African Americans?'

was lucky with lyle - a fight that totally
lacked skill IMO.

There's no doubt that boxers today are primed physically in a way they didn't used to be. I'm not saying its better or worse. But whenever I ask who has the fastest hands in boxing history other than Ali, Floyd Patterson and Robinson everyone else listed will be form the last 20 years or so... .
No, that's because most people don't know much about prior generations and the more recent fighters are in their minds.

I'd put the handspeed of Kid Gavilan, Johnny Bratton, Barney Ross, Ike Williams, Bob Satterfield etc. up there with any current fighters. The conditioning was also superior back then as well.

That just goes to show how little you know and how judgemental/childish you are.

I'm not a Tyson fan, I was and always will be a Holyfield fan and was picking Evander for Tyson fight, which Buster sabotaged.

My rating of fighters has nothing to do with how I feel about them.

You forget the Klitschko relocated to the states in 2003, but Vitali eventually retired and Wlad went back to Germany after stinking out his HBO contract with atrocious fights, especially his appearance at Madison Square Garden vs Ibragimov. I was at that fight. By the 6th round Ukranians who had begun the fight cheering for him were booing him.

I hadn't forgotten mate. Wlad is a dull fighter, but so are plenty of other fighters. America is the centre of the boxing world, in terms of big fights and revenue. If the Klitschkos were American and #1 and #2 in the world, they'd be like the Williams sisters of boxing.
