Middlesex, where Wembley stadium sits, is effing miles away from the O2. Couldn't be further away from each other and "be in the same city"

Would be a great night of sport.

It's not like there will be an English team in the final this year anyway! :TU:

Slight difference being that last years CL final wasn't in Nottingham; this years CL final is at Wembley.
Yes and another difference was the CL Final was May 19 last year, and Froch-Bute was May 26.

A good, and more relevant, point.

Awesome match up. Kessler just has the jab cross combo, Froch should be practicing mixing up that overhand right (JMM tapes will help) to mix up throwing the arms around those earmuffs. Kessler needs to learn the left hook, right upper to the body, and jab retreat combo. A bit too difficult I guess some of these things for boxers who do not fight monthly.

It's interesting that Kevin Francis from the Daily star is alledging that the fight is worth £4million meaning 2 million goes to each fighter. Especially after a rival promoter on ifilm London brought out emails saying he offered 1 million to Froch to fight Cleverly and made out like Froch would never get that for a fight ever.

Danish press states that kessler recieves just under 2 mill £ for this fight.

Did not stop them last year with the Bute fight
Price fight was champions league final not BUte! Someone said final now 6pm. I doubt there be any British teams in it.

Any basis for this?

Wonder how many tickets Froch is capable of selling. The 02 is around...18,000???

Andre Dirrell?

But no I think Froch is a more confident fighter now, Kessler a more fragile fighter now. I can see it being a big big night for Froch, with his big supporters placing high in the P4P bracket and him being the first man to stop Kessler.

Froch lost the fight more than Kessler won it 3 years ago.... and the momentum is more with Froch now than ever.... Fresher, more active, home ground, confidence at a high. Froch went into the Kessler fight on the back of a lackluster, controvesial, decision victory - many didn't think he should have been WBC champion when he fought Kessler. This time he is going into it blitzing his last two opponents.
Froch will go there to rip the title away this time, he's learnt to apply pressure quickly now, rather than looking for big shots. I see him getting to the Dane early, a bit of a tear up, before he takes Kessler apart. TKO8

I think he said he will rest through christmas and then take a holiday; he has spoken about a bout with Chavez Jnr or would like a rematch with Ward, both bouts in the US.
