Froch abuse pushing rematch further away

I think there will be a rematch, but Froch has the right to decide what happens to his own career.

He absolutely does.

Dare not to fight Groves however and I can see him forever being dogged by assertions that he ducked the rematch - which given the circumstances of the fight, would not be unreasonable.

That wouldnt sit well with Froch and to be fair would detract from his many great ring achievements.

One thing is for sure though, the vast majority of british boxing fans dont want to see Froch in with Ward or Chavez jnr next. And Eddie Hearn for one, certainly recognises that the fans' desires mean something, even if some on here are suggesting Froch doesnt care.

If he wants to fight Chavez, I'll watch it, hell, I'd PPV it. It's a really good fight for Carl. I want to see him back in with Groves, no question, but if he takes another fight first, then that's fine.
