The Matchroom stable begins to crumble. Was that Howard Foster who threw the towel in?

Defo was already in trouble but was telling his corner his hip had gone when on the floor.

I agree but his hip looked fine before Sturm hurt him with the head shots.

Sturm came out fast in the 1st round, Barker looking a bit shocked by it, tried fighting fire with fire.
2nd round, Sturm catches Barker with one around the ear, Barker goes down and gets up looking wobbled, he then gets staggered and down again and complains about hip a bit to corner. He tries to fire back and then his corner throw towel in.

Watt was talking rubbish tonight though saying Barker got his tactics wrong. He did but that's how he fought Geale aswell!

Hip problem or not, I hope its not used as his excuse.

He was getting smashed about well before any apparent hip problem. Beaten to the jab, countered repeatedly... and easily...

Barker's footwork was poor. Couldn't seem to find his range at all.

Absolutely he was bang in trouble but the reason the towel came in when he was hitting back is he told his corner his hip had gone..

I'm sure he hurt himself, but he was firing a good combination when his trainer stopped it
