Broc vs Tua

This one seems to have gon under the radar while they both had other fights to compleet against David Bostice and Cisse Salif respectively however with those out of the way it is now official that these two will fight on the Gatti Damgaard undercard and to me seems like quite an exciting prospect.

Brok has continued to impress against a resonable level of competition and the HW devision could do with someone as exciting as tua esspecially now his weight seems to be going in the right direction (in his last fight he was 245 lb the same as against Lewis).

How does everyone see this one going. Any other thoughts on the prospects of the winner.

Ummm its a toughie, Tua has looked awful pretty much since the Lennox Lewis debarcle. The guy is so slow footed and was a few seconds away from losing (on my card) his comeback fight vs the poor Griffis.

Having said that, not sure Brock is the real deal. He has been hurt on a few occasions (especially vs Etteine and McCline). His best opponents haven't done so well since they fought Brock (has either Etteine or McCline won since their fight?). David Bostise is a good club level fighter but that is all, and for him not to win every round vs him isn't the greatest of omens.

Its a tough fight to call, but I don't expect either to prgress much further. I think there is a chance they could both catch Byrd at the right time and both have a punchers chance vs Wlad - but I cannot see them beating either of the two guys fighting for the WBC title.

With Damngaurd and Tua's track record I still think this bill will not go ahead.

Tua looked the best against Salif then he has for a long time. Brock hasnt the reach or boxing savvy to keep Tua on the back foot where he needs to be.
Tua will bludgeon him to defeat in the middle rounds

I still think that Brock will outpoint Tua, I can see Tua getting in a few left hooks but i don't think he can throw to many combinations nowadays.

Brock has good movement and his confidence is high, i think he will overcome a few tough moments to come through with the win.

Got to go with Brocks footwork for this one.

They should stop putting Tua in front of these guys if they want to do anything with him.

definatly going to be interesting mate, as i said if Tua lands then Brock will have to have a good chin, he was floored by McCline early in a round, but came back to rock McCline by the end of it.
Tua's Punch power and chin is better proven at the highest level, Brock will show what he's made of though.

Yes mate it will be a good fight the one worrying thing I have with Brock is why he never pushed on after beating McCline. I think there is a weak chin there. He got wobbled against a shot Ettiene and floored by McCline - in what at that time looked a good result but has now lost its lustre after Jameels loss to trialhorse Zuri Lawrence.
It all makes for an intriguing crossroads fight.
