Just saw a replay....Smoger started to step in well before the final punch, but he wasn't assertive enough. Just kind of pawed at Kirkland...

Agbeko shook him once or twice with a couple of his connects, I really don't think he has the greatest chin so he makes sure to take as few chances as possible like Wlad Klitschko. It's partially Agbeko's fault for not going for broke and simply trying to land one or two here and there, it takes two to make a fight.

The Kirkland vs Tapia fight is an example of why the Froch vs Groves fight would not have been stopped given Smoger. He basically let's a dude get beaten to within an inch of his life. Tapia was basically done a good 2 to 3 rounds before it was stopped.

Good win for Macklin tonight, and the Kirkland-Tapia fight was awesome. Tapia really got his ass thoroughly kicked though. It was an accident of course, but when Smoger came in to stop it Tapia took an especially ugly left from Kirkland.

Rough beating for the game Tapia. Great fight. Hopefully James can stay on track this time and stay out of legal or personal trouble because he's a fun guy to watch every time out.
