Marlon had a habit of turning up on the big fights but he lost to a few guys who had no reason beating him

I still take Marlon and I think he'd beat mayweather too

I don't see this as a very good matchup for Pacquiao who looks his best against guys that strand right in front of him and walk straight in like Rios. I could see Starling giving him fits and out boxing him on a way to a decision win. That being said sometimes Starling could be hit or miss depending on how motivated he was so I could see Pacquiao winning a decision based on his superior aggression if Starling was not on top form. I remember when Starling fought Curry the second time and he lost a decision that he could have won had he not been so intent on screwing around doing some crap that he just made up that he called the "Starling stomp". I don't remember him doing that "Starling Stomp" nonsense in any of his other fights.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

That was actually the first fight where he was clowning around and coasting when the fight was very close. Curry beat him comprehensively in the rematch.

Thanks I couldn't remember if it was the first or second fight that he was pulling that nonsense, I remember watching both fights but haven't seen either of them since.

In my opinion Starling was a top fighter just not on the same level as a prime Pacman.........Manny wins a un dec in a close fight early Manny aggressiveness/speed/class takes over second half of fight he coast to victory :TU:

I liked Starling a lot, but simply too inconsistent.

Pac's greater speed, aggressiveness and eye catching flurries would give him a solid decision win.

The Starling Stomp was entertaining but really didn't count much on the scorecards.

Starling could be so lackluster at times.
