Mayweather never had to deal with a Leonard, hearns, duran,or even a curry ,starlng, breland, and Trinidad at 147.an old Dr last hoya imo beat him. Granted he has good wins over Judah and cotton.but these Mexicans guerrero and Ortiz are totally overrated imo and not genuine 147 pounders.Floyd has looked the best fighter in the world the last 5 or so years but not fighting Pac,is very revealing, not being able to finish fighters like Alvarez, refusing to do what a Leonard or hearns would do and go up to mw it's a negative.my point is mayweather is beatable

Mugabi,

Difference between Mayweather and Hearns, Leonard etc..... neither Hearns and Leonard fought a 9st 4 and looked confortable making the weight then. He has never moved up a weight out of necessity.

Could flip side it and say.... what a negative Leonard never fought at Super Feather.

The more Mayweather has fought recently the more I think the DLH performance was a one off poor one by his standards. I used to think that was a sign that DLH of 5 years before at 147 would have beaten him.... now I am starting to think it was hand problems etc that must have effected him.

 Leonard and hearns never fought at featherweight because they started their careers at welterweight :roll:the absurdities you are saying by that reckoning ali isn't as great as mayweather as to quote " he never fought at 9 st 4 and looked comfortable " either.

You expect a man who started at 9st 4, could easily make 10st and walks around at his fighting weight, to move up to 11st 6lbs because Leonard and Hearns, who started at 10st 7lbs did, Hearns being 6 foot 1 and having a 78 inch reach, which is big for a light heavyweight, that is absurd.

He had the injury retirement after the DLH fight and came back better after surgery IMO

Although Oscar posed a few questions theres no way in hell he beat Floyd. Floyd was poor that night but he still won a "close but clear" type decision.

Broner shouldn't try to use that style he's not good enough. Nowhere near Floyd's class.

Thank you expe - my point exactly.

Hearns / Leonard naturally bigger than Floyd..... thats why they fought at Middle and Floyd aint... Simples.

Hatton did land a jab in the first round, it didn't hurt Mayweather, but it did catch him completely off balance and send him staggering across the ring into the ropes, in a bigger ring, he may well have hit the deck before he reached the ropes.
Myth, their feet crossed, Hatton never troubled him.
Like I said, he wasn't hurt, but he was caught off balance.

Sick an tired of people saying Boner is like Mayweather , when truth be told he has more in common with Burto that PBF in my opinion :bag:
His career and the way he fights looks exactly like Andre Berto. He's flat footed with fast hand and explosive power. What happened to both of them? They had an identity crisis (thinking they was Floyd), got in there with a come forward action type of fighter, and got dropped and exposed.
I am over the moon as i couldn't stand da pwick
