The possibility of Nohit entering the ring are on par with appearances by the Loch Ness monster and Bigfoot!

Can't believe his name is still being thrown around.

I really hope Rohit shows up so Chauncy has a quality opponent. If he dodges Welliver again they will have to beat the streets for a lesser man to replace Mr. Singh. They might have to stoop as low as offering David Tua the match. :shame:

The schedule still shows our legendary invisible man: Nohit topping the bill, but time is running out for him to pull a heart muscle.

Taranaki will be the centre of the universe, if there is a sighting of Nohit, actually gloved up and inside the ring on the night!

Apparantly it's still on (even at this late stage). One of the undercard fighters on the Thames bill has informed me that the winners from the the two heavyweight main fights on the first bill (the Thames one) are fighting on the New plymouth one 6 days later. Very bizaare considering there 12 rounders and that the article reads pretty certain that it's going to be Welliver/Wright.

Any more information on this? I am strangely fascinated by the Bronco Billy Wright/Welliver sideshow, going round the world chalking up fights. Where will they turn up next?

Where's Waldo is weak. Where's Wright and Welliver is the real game. Together they can take out any 2 men from any country in the world. One of these days they will pop up in Ukraine and show those Klitschko Sisters what's up. :box:

Nohit is now off the card. This legend was last seen having coffee with his mythical mates: Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster.

Wright and Welliver are now the main bout in this circus.

Least we know who ate all the pies in Taranaki after seeing that video. Hopefully Wright and Welliver will now hang up the gloves and never darken our towells again.

I think after all these years, it's unfair for him and his messer/ messenger to poison our ears with him being avoided down here, and retire. I would like him to get in the ring with Browne, Cameron, Haumono or the likes. It's owed!

At least Chauncy's step son "Swift" Justice Grant won his fight. I feared this result as soon as I saw the match up between friends. This was the only way Bronco Billy was ever going to stop him or win. Chauncy could have went the distance and beat him with 1 arm. Lucky break for Billy. There was no other way he would have been victorious or even lasted the full 12 rounds. And I didn't like that last cheap shot he threw after the bell. He deserved to have his arse beat the way it would go down 9,999 times out of 10,000 vs Welliver. Biggest gift of his career and life. But if I ever see him wearing that WBC Asian Boxing Council HW Title around I am ripping it right off his waist. He didn't win shizit.

As for the other fights that Chauncy could get in New Zealand. The only guy there that could challenge him is Cameron. He beats both NZ HW Champs easy. King Afa and Sonny Bill would both be easy work. And I don't give a shizit what people say David Tua ducked Welliver for years. He'd get cremated too if he ever mans up.

I'd like to see Welliver vs Lepai after Wladimir throttles him back down to Earth. I'd like to see the Browne match as well. Both guys can bang some but they would never KO Welliver. He'd need to get into better shape than he was for this fight but his appearance is misleading. He has better stamina than Leapai even when he looks out of shape. Chauncy could win that fight by getting on the gas early and staying on it all night long. No matter which way it went it would be a very competitive fight. And after Leapai is cream puffed it could make some sense to all involved.

Sonny Bill Williams was stripped and King Afa Tatapu lost to Joseph Parker, neither are champions now. Parker would hammer Welliver even this early in his career.
