Like most prospects, Zanon looked good against guys with losing records.

He didn't look so good when he started meeting guys who could fight back though.

Later on, I do recall him looking good against Quarry for quite a few rounds. Mind you, Quarry had come out of a 2+ year retirement. As soon as Jerry shook off the ring-rust and landed a few biffs, dear old Lorenzo started looking for the canvas and folded like a deckchair soon after.

Did Zanon ever fight anybody using the southpaw stance? I think he was conventionally an orthodox fighter.

Ah, okay. I've only seen his fight against Holmes.
I guess he wasn't actually left handed but he used the southpaw stance occasionally to try and confuse his opponent. Is that correct?

Okay, so we can't really include him on a list of southpaw challengers for the world heavyweight title.
You're a knowledgeable guy - when you're not knocking Ali :-)
Any idea what Zanon's reach measurement is?

I was beginning to wonder if "Cassius" would appear in this work of fiction.

You didn't let me down, Duchess.
