Not that this fight will happen.
He had a bad night against Maidana but I have watched the fight back.
He was beaten but he will come back and would easily win a rematch IMO.
Take a look at what Bradley did against Provodnikov and the complete different tack against Marquez for the blueprint.
He wasn't as buzzed as Khan was against Maidana if not for the ref Khan was stopped in that fight.
Im glad for chino he deserves great credit for a good win and being generous in spirit to Broner who frankly is a prick.
However I think that loss could be the making of Broner he has a decent chin and can get back up.
Needs a new trainer and attitude and a loss might just bring the changes needed.
How people are still talking about Khan is beyond me.
He is a national embarrassment and this will only be compounded by his unworthy shot at Mayweather.
Khan if he really did beat Maidana fair and sq which he didn't.
Should chase the rematch and go take the title he is a fraud and quite how so many knowledgeable people are still buying into him I will never understand .
The ref didn't win the Maidana fight for Khan. Maidana is a great puncher Khan deserves more respect for surviving

He is mickey in fact he is a multi national embarrassment.
British Pakistan and the nation of Islam.
From the way his team conducted their business before his losses.
The shocking way he blamed everyman and his dog for his inability to follow instructions.
Losing after disrespecting you opponents in the build up.
Every time he opens his mouth or gets caught wanking on Skype
or does the chicken dance he causes embarrassment.
I could go on but nothing would sway the throng of hype worshippers that refuse to see what"s in front of them.
Not entirely true though fella is it? From the moment he won Olympic silver he captured the casual boxing fan. Follow on from that he's won world titles so you can't just say that he's a complete emabrassment that's just stupid. I'm not keen on him as it happens but his accomplishments are there to see. His flaws too obviously but you seem to dislike him more than most and that is plain to see :TU:
I do dislike him alot.
I dont see what isnt true really though i have failed to address the balance yes he did some good things earlier in his career including winning world titles.
Since those heady days he has become a National embarrasment IMHHO.

I disagree dan i feel the ref jumped in in the 10th giving Khan respite when he was out on his feet.

khan and broner are quite similar in many ways.....pair of arseholes who talk so much shite, overprotected multi title winning superstars who dont seem to understand that you are meant to fight guys your own size, both backed up by powerful media outfits and outrageous propaganda,. and both seem to have a very poorly developed set of defensive skills. they have been brought along cherry picking their way to success aginst the old , the small, and the non punchers in the sport. when they are finally forced to fight half decent fighters their own size.....well, they dont look quite as good anymore.

i think broner is the better fighter out of the two, but in an ideal world the two of them would beat the shit out of each other for 12 rounds before simultaneously knocking each other out.

shows you how valid their titles were that both were smashed around the ring by the crude maidana, who in my opinion , is the real fighter- came up the hard way and got no favours agianst anyone.

Ah working class hero syndrome alive and well I see........................

Listen, both Broner and Khan are good fighters.

Khan beat Maidana fair and square and deserves credit for it.

not now he isnt, but it took two life and death struggles with maidana and peterson and two brutal ko's before the penny seemed to drop . even now the very fact that he seems to be in line for mayweather would suggest that there are some out there who are still carrying delusions on a par with audley harrison winning a world title.

Roy Jones believes the only person that can challenge Floyd is Amir, based on styles.

Khan is a good fighter and bloody exciting. I've said it before, but I honestly believe that unless you see khan fight in the flesh that its really hard to appreciate his speed. Its phenomenal!!

I know this is a year old, but I only just came across it. I thought it was interesting. Roy Jones and Pauli Malignaggi, both talking up Khans chances. Its probably more interesting that it was a while ago, as they aren't trying to sell a fight. This was their view a year ago.

CLearly you'd have to be brave to bet on khan, but one things for sure - It would be entertaining.

Judging by Roy Jones Jr's commentary on HBO in the past, he has no fornicating clue what he's on about.
