How tall was Percy Bassett?

Does anyone know? I can't find measurements for him anywhere. I watched the Carter fight and he looked a lot shorter than Carter who was a big 5-6 but then I watched the Famechon fight, who is 5-6, and he looked about the same size.

So safe to say, I have no idea :)

Anyone know for sure? Or have a good guess?

I guess if I had entitled this thread Percy Bassett 1954 "I can beat up 13 year old Muhammad Ali any day but they won't let me because nobody knows how tall I am" it would have gotten more replies.

In the Sonny Boy West fight he's descibed as 5 foot 5 and a half so you were close. Came in at 132 for that fight.
