Any decent fighter should be able to do 50 tickets surely

There are plenty of "names" out there who couldnt sell out a phone box!!

A couple of high profile fighters went through the early parts of their careers selling f*ck all - I can remember the days when I was still in the Army getting "rent a crowd in" into shows - One show particulary surprised me and that was Hatton v Maussa at Sheffield ... that was only a few months from the sold out Kostya Tzsyu fight - I have never worked so hard trying to shift tickets ... managed to get something like 700 squaddies there for that one. Sheffield Arena still did not sell out!!

It was great having the lads there for some shows as they were under instruction if they didnt scream shout etc etc they would be in Jail on Monday morning.

They were daft c*nts I cant remember what show it was but they were told to shout and scream for the "House" fighter because he was bound to win ... it was one of them fights where the foreign opponent won and yep the daft c*nts started standing on their chairs cheering the away fighter ... it sent me into a proper frenzy and rant

I thought they were schoolchildren at the Haye fight in Huddersfield when he fought an Italian. They were carrying on like girls at a 1D concert. Even for Anthony Small, who thought they were genuine...

If it wasnt for the 175 or so lads that turned up that night there would have been no crowd at all. In addition the lads were well briefed that night to create as best as possible atmosphere.

The boxers loved them.
Sky loved them

And in addition they conducted themselves impecably so your posts makes your post look like it was written by a b*tch who is bitter and twisted - or is it because of your political beliefs you dont like squaddies.

I don't dislike squaddies at all! I genuinely didn't even know they were soldiers until I read it on here years later. I never said they misbehaved, just thought they were way over the top. I could spot a mile off they weren't genuine, they were hysterically cheering all the house fighters! Even the ones I knew had sold no tickets. I suppose it did look much better for tv and yes, the crowd was pathetic. That's Haye for you in the earlier days... Bet it's the last time Small and the Army have celebrated together!

spudly you muppett....remember that show u were trying to give me tickets to paper the place out....like i cared about haye and small...the promoters in their wisdom decided to put no huddersfield fighters on in hudds except hare against a journeyman...if i remember rightly you ran the whole shabang....what a muppett....
