Might as well mention a couple of female world champions as well...

Jessica Rakoczy (http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_ ... &cat=boxer), who is a former WBC female lightweight champion, is 1-3 in MMA. She's a contestant on the upcoming series of The Ultimate Fighter....

Rakoczy made it to the TUF final and is fighting Julianna Pena in the final tonight.

Rakoczy got stopped with a few seconds remaining in the first. Pena was able to take her down twice and dominated the fight. Accrding to Sherdog, Rakoczy is now 1-4 (1 NC) in MMA. The three fights she won during the course of TUF were officially classified as exhibitions and don't count on her pro record. She's actually a much better MMA fighter than her pro record suggests. She's just been in with some very good fighters.

A fun bit of trivia, I think that last night Rakovczy became the second boxer who has won a credible world title to fight in the UFC. James Toney was the other. I'm pretty sure that's the case. There have been others in MMA (James Warring, Frans Botha, Ricardo Mayorga Ray Mercer, Imamu Mayfield, Yodsanan Sor Nanthachai Sityodtong, Elena Reid, Holly Holm) but none of them ever fought in the UFC.

After losing twice (once in October and once this past weekend) to gentleman named Sergio Ortiz, Ricardo Mayorga is giving up his foray into MMA and says that he is going back to boxing. His MMA career ends 0-3 (with 1 NC- that being the fight against Wesley Tiffer that Mayorga won by kneeing the spine and which the commission then changed to a no contest).
