Ok, i'm going to this fight on Saturday and i'm fully behind Stuey Hall

P.S. Please forget the reasons for the fight etc, its neither boxers fault they have this chance, just interested in plain and simple who you think will win

Just hoping its a good fight. On the records alone Stuey has a chance but I just lean towards Malinga.

Malingo is a strong boy, typical Africian jumps in with looping punches from all angles. Hall needs plenty of movement to avoid these shots, and then try to step inside to land his own. Stuart is talking about making this a toe to toe war, which I hope is only talk, as Santa Cruz couldn't stop him so can't see Hall doing it.

Good luck to Hall but I think after the first 3 or 4 rounds pass he is going to be shipping a lot of punishment. He isn't very elusive at domestic level....

Malinga by late stoppage after breaking hall up and cutting him. No direspect to Hall, but he isn't stopping this fella andI can't see him outgoing him over 12.

We may get a hometown decision again, but without that my money would' have to be on malinga

I accept that, but do you honestly think that Stuart can replicate that result. He's playing with fire do adopt such tactics

Not sure Stu can set a good enough pace to make Malinga uncomfortable. I think Malinga will wear him down and take it by late stoppage or points. Both lads will be well up for it and have plenty of motivation, there is a huge amount on the line for both boxers. I do wish Hall all the best though and hope he can get the win

Cant wait for this, stueys training could, nt have gone better. Knowing how hungry he is for this, I dont think anyone can stop him tomorrow.
I think it will be a real toe to toe battle, stueys never been close to being put down whereas malinga got hammered in 1st round against a very good champ.
I think it will go the distance with stuey getting the decision.
I will have a huge piss stain in my pants tomorrow if/when he pulls it off!

not followed the Asian or south african scenes for a while and some of these names ring a bell, like vetyeka who beat chris john recently - I recall him being a very poor, cautious challenger to hasegaw as well.

50/50 type fight! Malingas mixed in the higher class but he's also come up short each time so hard to read too much into that. Despite getting blown out by the speedy Hasagewa, he did go 12 with mini margarito Leo Santa Cruz which is good form. But if Stuey pulls out all the stops, he can win! Go on lad!

Wouldn't have thought so, he'd be maybe 4th or 5th amongst active champions (Rigo, Ioka, Shumenov would all be ahead of him off the top of my head). He'd be amongst the quickest Brits I guess.

Think Paul Weir's the quickest here, did it in 6 fights, Paul Hodkinson won it in his 19th, the same as Hall tonight, Naz won his in his 20th fight, Haye in 21. Amir Khan did it in 22 fights and Lennox Lewis in 23. Duke McKenzie was in his 21st fight and Joe Calzaghe and Robin Reid both took 23 fights. Pat Clinton took 20 fights like Scott Harrison, Barry Jones was in his 18th fight and Wayne McCullough won a world title in his 17th fight the same as Dave Boy McAuley. So unless I've missed a few out, which is possible because I didn't look at some of the older fighters due to the tendency to fight more often then, I have him as being joint 5th fastest British fighter to win a world title if he does the job tonight.

Knew he would do it, absolutely phenomenal performance from both fighters, a real war.Pleased Stuey is ok as that eye looked horrible.
Haven't seen it on tele yet, cant wait to see it again.
