I think Harrison on points. A few shaky moments for him though.

Danny puts Audley down early before running into jab after jab after jab and finding that that left cross is harder than you might think when you can't see it coming anymore. Audley PTS 12

i honestly havent got a clue, i sort of envisage audley keeping danny at bay behind the jab and danny not getting his shots off, just plodding around the ring after audley but if this turns out to be one of those highly charged atmosphere`s were the crowd and the fighters really get carried away and they start to trade i reckon danny could ko audley.
its a pick `em.

Yep I'm of a similar opinion, probably go for Danny by KO though for old times sake.

Interesting to see the split the way it is, but mark my words; Williams will not see the fight through. Audley will lower the boom. :box:

I think it will be close early on and tentative without major incident and both very cautious and not eager to commit but with every round going by fast and intense. Audley pulling away with the better work later on and taking a decision and then claiming he is ready to rule the world.

If williams is in shape and up for it, i expect him to go to work and KO audley mid fight. If not, straitforward win for audley.

SHIT I can't believe I won't get to see this one, anyone have the remotest idea if I can get the fight on an obscure channel in the Italian Alps? :-?

You sure you've seen enough Williams fights?

Even when he's not mentally there he doesn't quit. :TU:

Once Danny has got in the ring and the 1st bell goes, Williams does not lack bottle. Very unfair to suggest this about Danny.

To the fight itself Audley has chosen the right time to box Danny. Williams has been in several hard, hard battles and Audley is as fresh as a Daisy, relatively speaking.

Danny's pride can either make this a hard slog for Audley or Danny's mental state can make this a fairly easy ride for Audley. Harrison wins either way, but it's up to Danny how hard it is for Audley.

Its Audley for me for three resons,

1) Audley will work to the body on the inside and danny will run out of steam as not many heavyweights can hurt to the boddy like harrison.

2) To start out with Williams will be too small and frustrated by audleys jab and loose early points and forced into rash attempts to take audley out later on.

3) I can;t think of much south paw experiance Williams has had and as he tires that will start to matter because he will rely more on instinct and move to his right into audleys left.

Audley by KO rnd 8-11

I think if Williams is in decent shape it could be a pretty even fight for four/five rounds, then Audley taking charge after that to a unanimous decision win, (or perhaps a late stoppage???). Can't see Danny winning this one by any means.

Harrison on points or late TKO.

Harrison is the fresher fighter and can keep Williams at bay with that southpaw jab.

I would like to change my vote to Williams by KO by the 6th round. I just cant see him out boxing Audley, dont know why i did so in the first place?

Must have got to excited posting a poll! :D

Another thing i was thinking about, what if Williams does win? Are the UK hopes of a Heavyweight World Champion all gone, as surly Harrison is our best hope at the moment.

Every Boxer let alone a Heavyweight boxer has a punchers chance! :TU:

I think audley is the best chance of a title because I think he has a good chance of beating the 4 who currently hold the title (simple as), the question is will he get the brakes and will the fights be made.

Also will it mean much to the general public if he beats Ruiz, Brewster Bird et al, the only one they will have heard of is Rahman and he is damaged goods after Lewis.
