I hate it when people on here assume,speculate or make things up, Danny has fought on to provide for his family only and this is his last fight,because he has now qualified as a body guard and has work set up,after this fight,he also wanted to have his last fight in Muslim country,recently Danny went the distance with former world champion and he is in great shape for this fight,but before people on here rubbish him,just remember the entertainment he gave us in fights with Audley Harrison,his one armed win and his bravery against Tyson. My son is ex-forces, well actually just gone back in and has licence for security personnel. One thing you need is a good quick thinking brain as you have lives of others in your hands, you need to be able to speak and think and plan moves before others.

Without being over critical but the last time I hear Danny talk he was neither. Danny has taken too many fights and suffered the consequences.

Also you can train to become a body guard for £1900, how much has Danny been fighting for over the last 6 or 7 losses? £2-99 per fight and the bus fare home.

I like Danny so im not having a go, but he fought too many times and personally if I was JFK the second I think I would be concerned if I was being protected by Danny Williams.

Danny beat mike Tyson in my book that was a bloody good win but promotors have been feeding off him like a vulture over a dead bird.

Clearly he is on the path of fighting well into middle age. He's 40, so I reckon he'll go another 5 years easy. Wouldn't want to be facing the neurological issues that will bite him at some point.

Roy Gumbs, thats a from the past. At one point his record was 9-7-1 , then went 16-0-2 in his next 18 fights , winning a Lonsdale belt and the Commonwealth title. One of the draws was against future WBO champ Manning Galloway.

He ran into a top form Mark Kaylor losing his titles, and even got an unlikely world title shot at Chong-Pal Park

"It is also common for events to start late in Arab countries" is a perfect example of your own stupidity - for starters my friend is Egyptian so will be far more aware of that than you, as I am, having lived in the Middle East for more than a decade. He is clearly referring to it starting two hours later than advertised.
As for the arena, of course it's superb, as it's run by Flash Entertainment, who I know well. How does that change my friend's points as he doesn't reference the arena at any point? In keeping with that you could stage a show at the 02, but if it's poorly organised and badly attended then the venue can't overcome that.
I already know Rahman was in town, but again, the fact he was has no bearing on the points my friend has made about the show.
Finally, my friend definitely had/has no agenda, he was a genuine fan hoping for a good night. You've already proven your bias on this thread with your previous posts so I know who I believe... now jog on before you embarrass yourself any further...

Anzi how did Ahmed Karmostagi box / result ? I had the opportunity to box him but at 2 days notice was short notice for me to make arrangements. I would definitely without a doubt box him anywhere in the world next time around. Any results appreciated. You have to be extremely thick skinned to post on here. I boxed Frankie Gavin and lasted 2 rds I was pulled to bits for my performance. Frankie has gone on to win British title / Commonwealth and other titles, stopped most of his opponents and apparently he cant punch was the views of some boxrec posters. Im sure the show in Abu Dhabi was great no worse than what gets sanctioned in UK.
