Dream Fight Upsets III - Bernard Hopkins (at 160)

Post by Ezzard »

Following from this old classic...

After putting Pernell to sleep in the second instalment how do we go with Bernard???

And again...

Give me a fighter who is widely accepted as being not as good as Hopkins but who has a good chance of causing an upset.

Before the usual nonsense...they don't have to definitely beat him. You just have to form a decent argument is all...

Herol Graham would outpoint him, in possibly the worst fight ever scene.

I think Sumbu Kalambay has a decent chance also.

Anthony Mundine. I'd certainly favour Hopkins, but I think around 2006-07 Mundine would have had a good chance of outpointing Bernard in a competitive fight.

Kalambay and Nunn are both good calls.
