Have i missed something ???

Post by Foggy »

Just had a look at Jesus Chavez record (aint got a clue why i did) and it shows that he's fighting MAB in 2006, when the fooking hell was this fight arranged :o , if MAB won maybe Arthur or Harrison when he moves up could fight for the vacant titles if MAB stopped at lightweight.
Excuse my ignorance if this has already been discussed but i really cannot remember this being mentioned on the forum.

Yep been arranged a while now, MAB wants to be the first Mexican 4weight champ - he has no place at Lightweight but should beat Charvez - although Charvez put up a decent effort against Morales with only 1 arm (rotator cuff injury). I wonder if he'll never be the same fighter after seeing his opponents life destroyed (like Eubank and Benn)

I guess the Scotts could fight for the vacant titles BUT Morales, Pacman, Raheem (fighting at 130 now) and others will probably be chasing them too.

I also think it would be an exciting fight with the ever game Chavez. Look forward to that, but I could not see Barrera making his home at Lightweight and he should return back down lower after winning the title. But you never know, money talks with big fights :box:

Think I started a thread called "Barrera out to make history" or something like that - and then alot of folk bashed him for not fighting the best in his devision.
