Just started to read the autobiog I got for christmas. Only on page 6 and Tyson has just taken the stand in his rape case. He says he cannot repeat much due to UK law so I was wondering if the book is slightly different for US readers and if he recounts more in a US version book? Just interested to know.

I read it about 3 weeks ago. Have to say, it's one of the best books I have ever read.
Tyson is one of my favourite fighters anyway but after reading the book I admire what he has has done even more. He had a real rough upbringing.
Now knowing what mentality he had going into each fight, I have found myself watching most of them again on YouTube this week.
He's a very troubled dude and he has issues that I didn't have a clue about.
It's a long old book but very honest.
Well worth a read.

Not bad up to now but the grammer or the way he has written the book is sometimes hard to read, i have to read a few of the sentances a few times to understand him. Writes like he talks with lots of foul words. But up to now enjoying the read.

Halfway through it. Very good read.

Yep, really good, couple of errors in it but a good read and worth getting. The Good Son is shaping up well also.

I'm about 3/4 way through now. Its a good read but to be honest its only mediocre. I find the story quite repetitive, Fight, sex and drugs then some more fights sex and drugs, and court cases, then some more fight sex and drugs and more court cases.

The only thing that suprised me was Tyson did not seem to train much between fights and blames that on his defeats. Nice read but to be honest ill be happy when im though so I can read my Rick Stein memoires.

Many years ago I got lost and I had a map in my pocket and rather than be sensible and pull over to check it, I tried to have a glance while riding but the cunting wind caught it and blew the map in my face, couldn't see a fornicating thing for what felt like ages even though it can't have been more than 3 seconds. Scary man. Don't read and ride.

Don King ripped me off.... But in the next sentence remarks how he never read the contract. Well he didn't rip you off then! If he's fulfilling the obligation of a contract you were too fornicating thick to read. It's made me have less and less sympathy for mike.

He goes on about how ghetto he is even at 40 when he'd been out of Brownsville for 28 years!! He was only 'street' cos he chose to be.

If there was a championship belt for feeling sorry yourself then Mike Tyson would have it. I have always thought the same with him. Goes on and on about being from the street; he lived in a big house from the age of 13. That bloke has made hundreds of millions of £s yet you'd think from the way he goes on he's still a slum dog kid. I'm sure he did have it rough in his childhood. But so has billions of others. All he does is moan.

I think the book was too long and to be honest just goes on about the same crap. I think if he stuck to the boxing points and put a bit more effort into explaining the action of the fights it would have been a better read. Some fights he just says a few words and thats it. Bruno for example only a few lines for both fights.
