I suppose if Cunningham had beat Vitali then he'd be washed up and a worthless win as well.

It's many people's opinion:

Let's see your rankings then.
No. He would have been heavyweight champion of the world and it would have been as big a upset in the division since Douglas beat Tyson!
Adamek looked shit against Chambers and Guinn too. His best performance at heavyweight came four years ago. He is done. At the top, top level anyway.
Cunningham has done nothing at heavyweight. He is old too. That's why he moved up.
I don't dispute its many people's opinion, but that's all it is. An opinion. I suspect plenty don't have him that high either, including the major organisations, who actually count. I think Fury is only ranked in the top 3 or 4 of one of the organisations. So not exactly that conclusive.
In reality he is no higher placed than the rest of the contenders. Pulev and Stiverne are next in line given they have won eliminators so I guess that pushes them ahead of the contender crowd.
You need to stop being so defensive. Believe it or not, not sucking Tyson Fury's cock at any given opportunity doesn't mean I don't rate him, support him or want to see him succeed. Its called perspective.
Who would you like to see Fury fight next, or over his next three or so fights then?
For me, Chisora, Thompson and Adamek is going over old ground ( in Chisora's case, literally )
Thompson brings something different so could and should be a goer. Could be an easy one to make too
I would like something like Thompson, Arreola then Wilder or possibly Wlad, assuming he comes through those of course.
