I'm grabbing the Ioka fight right now from a boxing torrent site. Apparently it's a war and fight of the year candidate! Will watch later after a few beers

It's a beautiful display from Ioka. What I love most about him is the technique-imparted solidity of his punching--the correctness of it gives me a semi, tbh--& his ease & fluency at avoiding & deflecting punches whilst standing six inches away from you. A lot of fighters could learn a lot from watching the way the boy handles himself up-close.

Shades of Chavez & Arguello in the way he parries, rolls off & fires a counter inside, imo. Not going to go that far, but I am a massive fanboy of pretty aggressive/defensive countering & he's very very good at it.
