The version of Norris that beat Leonard would probably lead him a merry dance to a wide UD loss.

I'd pick Norris by wide decision, though if he tried to finish Duran he would get stopped and then win the wide decision in a rematch.

The 154lbs weight class was TOO BIG for the great Roberto Duran. Duran at that weight and time, could not fight guys that move around the ring. If Terry Norris fights by rounding in circles, like he did with Simon Brown in second fight, he wins. If he tries to slug it out with Duran, that fight is over in 6 rounds, a KO victory for the Hands of Stone.

The welterweight duran would maul chew up and ruin Norris. The question is would the Norris who beat srl curry Daniels etc be able to dance and outbox the duran of 154? He'll no.Duran in my mind would dissect him but even a duran being outboxed is liable at some time in the fight to a) hit Norris hard and knock him out shortly thereafter or b) draw the foolish Norris into his kind of fight and win that way in an inside battle with Norris being floored like Barkley. It's also not beyond the realms that the duran of 83 totally outboxes Norris.

I totally agree that the Duran that beat the great Sugar Ray Leonard in Montreal beats any version of Terry Norris at 154lbs, even IF Duran IS weighing 147lbs. Duran was a DIFFERENT CLASS.
