That's where Marvin made his rep fighting the the Philly middleweights. I remember reading in the paper when he fought Briscoe in the Spectrum how if you were high up in the seats it was hard to tell who was who as they both were bald and had on maroon trunks. The only way you could tell them apart was that Hagler was a southpaw.Il Duce wrote:Marvin Hagler
Always had a problem in Philadelphia.
Originally from Newark, New Jersey - many considered Marvin a Philly Middleweight.

Il Duce,
I have the old forum about Bobby "Boogaloo" Watts. He was a long and lean boxer/puncher. A tremendous boxer, who had fast hands and quick footwork. Surprising power for a thin-railed body. Famous for 'rapid-fire' combinations and a great left-lab. Those were his strengths.
One of his weakness was that Watts didn't have a great and he lost 6 out of 7 losses by knockouts or stoppages.
Can you please tell me how good was his left hook, right hand, power punch, body attack, strength, stamina, defense, durability and ring general?
