Very weird.

What's happened with Haye is sad. He used to be my favourite fighter but now he seems to be just a shameless manipulator. Doesn't even bother to address the supposed 'career-ending injury' that wasted Fury's time, money, and deprived him of a career-best payday. What?

It's funny because I wrote in the Froch thread that fighters should be judged on their in-ring achievements and not what they say, but what Haye has said and done has been so disruptive and has impinged so much on his in-ring activity it's impossible to ignore.

Vitali's departure, and the opening up of the WBC belt, was always going to make semi-retired heavyweights consider their position. Its not just the chance to fight for a world title without facing a Klitschko, it's the level playing field of not having to sign one of their one-sided contracts.

So where are all the guys on here that defended haye and felt sorry for his "career ending injury"? I Remember posting before saying that not all injuries could be real that that he was messing fighters around and people jumped to his defense. So is there anyone still going to defend him now if he comes back fighting and say what he dd to the fans who wasted loads of money and to fury was acceptable ?

Well seeing as Fury still has no fight planned, does this mean the fights back on :OhYes:

I defended Haye when he pulled out of the Fury fight,or maybe not defended but gave him the benefit of the doubt but for a real career ending injury,he sure is back fighting fit soon

They say what goes around comes around so maybe Haye will get messed about for months and months and be left with his dick in the air; I imagine any heavyweight with ambition and plans will not take him at face value.

Can't say I'm surprised by this. Minute Vitali retires, Haye's back in training again.

I wonder if Fury has grounds to sue Haye for loss of earnings??? Not sure.

I also think him saying this when Vitali has retired is extra weird considering Haye always said he had no interest in fighting anyone but a Klitschko at HW, but who knows what he's thinking any more.

Has he actually mentioned anything about fighting? It might be his healthiest year yet if he doesn't have to do any boxing training!

Its just a tweet, for Christ's sake.

Deep breaths, calm down etc.

Agreed.

People are outraged that a fighter is able to recover from an injury and continue fighting.

Odd

Apparently the Boxrec Paparazzi saw him lifting a tin of beans with his injured arm the other day in the supermarket and flew into an outrage

Doesn't he know you are not allowed to train and get fit ever again after an operation.
