Fights only get matched up normally 3 weeks out due too the away fighter having other jobs and if they don't come through a fight like get stopped they can't fight for say 30 or 40 days after a stoppage or something like that and sometimes giving the home fighter a little edge that he as more time and preparation, when a foreign fighter is the away fighter they only book it in very late due too flights , I asked this question myself months ago and a Freind who works in boxing told me this

Both headline fights have been announced. On Cardiff about 5 fights so far. On Copperbox CHisora plus Sykes v Walsh.

I "understand" this but can't understand how I can get a FULL Japanese card (both sides of the card) for a February 1st show whilst British cards are regularly left late.

What is it about Japan that allows, in this case Teiken, to get 7 bouts arranged with out the same issues effecting them?
