How about Ottke V Eubank.

Dullest imaginary fight between two talented boxers I can come up with. It's either twelve rounds of both waiting for the other man to make the first move or Eubank becomes frustrated and impatient, like he did in the second Benn fight, and gets caught by a few quick, light, but scoring punches from Ottke. Either a draw (first scenario) or a narrow win for Ottke (second scenario).

Can anyone else come up with really boring imaginary matchups?

I like Greg Page to completely 'thwart-off' any offensive charges of Muhammad Ali in February 1978.

That's an Ali diss I can almost go along with. I've not seen his debut, but every Greg Page I've seen, even the wobbly one, if a hard night for 78 Ali.

The clash of (or complete meeting of styles) as well as size is also a consideration.
