I was hoping that he was going to mention the conference fight he had with Hide, out in the wet! Was that Hide and Bentt that were rolling around in the puddles or is my memory rubbish?!

Yes, that was when Bentt called Hide a Bumbaclaat or something then it all kicked off. Classic!
I have the fight on tape but I always wanted a copy of that incident but have not seen it since.

It's on a few of those Boxing Barmy & Boxing Crazy tapes that came out in the late 90's early 00's. Can't remember which one but I have it somewhere.

It's definitely on Boxing Bedlam because I was watching the classic Bowe v Donald clip just before it recently.

Donalds accent just cracks me up - "No sir ahm not gonna be doin any runnin, ahm gonna be dayncin, it's aawwwlll goood.."

Donald showed his chin that day, clean unexpected shot from Big Daddy and he barely flinched!!!

Look at his record, makes you wonder how someone could sanction that fight with Morrison for a world title, he'd fought no one.

A bloody good read. One of the better ex-boxer stories, told by a very intelligent, articulate man.

It was the WBO belt. Who has Kid Fire McIntyre beaten to get a shot at Calzaghe?
