Great competition and thank you for the 15 minutes of glory.

Don't get ahead of yourself, man. The decision will be changed.

Important Note: The fight's decision as of the Monday after the scoring will stand as the official PTBF decision, unless the next PTBF takes place before that Monday, in which case that PTBF's scoring will be the deadline. The scoring of fights with extremely controversial endings that may be possibly be overturned will be delayed and handled on a case-by-case basis.

It was controversial, but not extremely. Barthelemy was on his way (I think) to ending the fight before a round end.

This type of BS is why a money competition will never work. Mendez was knocked out by a boxing move, deemed legal. It stands. Hell, Mendez was still trying to defend... I don't think he heard the bell either.. it's not like he dropped his guard and was cold cocked.

Ask the bookies if they paid winnings to Barthelemy backers.

JCS, your game, your rules. I never read that 'important note' bit, makes sense.
So, enjoy your lead, Colin.

The only outcome change I ever acknowledged was Hopkins/Dawson I... because a wrestling move ended the fight.

Hell, had you picked Barthelemy instead of Méndez, you would for sure not write this. Decision stands for our game, that's all what counts.

And, T.M.K.: Not difficult to lead if you are the only one to use a double down... But cheers! :TU:

It was all a ruse, just to be in the lead for once ;-)

Let's be honest: if I am still in front come January 19th then I'm a happy bunny, so I intend to gloat, cheer, enjoy, and be a bit of a cocky sod for another 8 days

If the results of last year are any indication, it seems to me that you can join the PTBF game any time you by god want to.

If you join with 5th fight, you will be counted from then on. If you not play for 60 days, your name is not shown on the scoreboard anymore, but if you play again after, you will be shown again, with all your points of that year so far... Read the rules. :TU:

If this thing gets turned into $, there should be a rule that you have to be a member of this forum for some amount of years (like 5-7) and you have over 1500 posts. If not, we'd have a bunch a guests popping in to ruin the whole game. We also would have the problem of people creating multiple accounts to up their chances to win $.

I understand the desire to add some more stakes to the game, but if a bunch of states in the US weren't such dicks about internet gambling, we wouldn't have this problem.

What problem do you mean? We decided not to play for money, but for other reasons... :TU:

N.B.: Never change a winning team! This is Season 10 already, and it always ran smoothly, so let's keep it what it is...

JCS, have a look at your schedule: It's JC Chavez Jr vs. Brian Vera II, not Brandon... And what about Ricky Burns vs. Terence Crawford?

And on March 8, we have Canelo vs. Angulo, his brother Ricardo vs. Omar Figueroa, Leo Santa Cruz vs. Cristian Mijares, Yoan Pablo Hernández vs. Pawel Kolodziej, Carlos Molina vs. Jermall Charlo... :D

At least not yet... will take time. Anyway, for PTBF, the result stands as of Monday, Jan. 5. Don't you think of that, JCS... :D No unpopular moves here... Lay it to rest!
