Michael Nunn vs Sumbu Kalambay, a thing of beauty.

Ottke vs Mundine is one I stick on regularly to cheer myself up, I might do that now.

Not known for being a puncher, Benitez' one punch KO of Mo Hope was a screamer.

Pernell Whitaker's brutal KO of Diosbelys Hurtado right after his trainer called for it was epic.

On the lighter side of things, Paulie Malignaggi's KO of Kevin Watts is very amusing. Watts was making light of Paulie's lack of pop, so Paulie threw everything behind a series of right hands and took the guy out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6s9PLE9y4og

Nunn beat Curtis Parker on the way up as well; he hammered him with a body shot. Parker had really believed that Nunn was a non puncher and not tough. When he got KOd he cried in the ring and was inconsolable that Nunn had beaten him like that.

Freddie Pendleton knocking out Roger Mayweather has got to be the winner. Freddie had 6 KO wins in 28 fights, which included 13 losses and one draw.

Anyone who ain't seen it......

Not a KO but perhaps biggest shock shot by a non puncher I've seen was Barry Jones, who no stoppages to his name, dropping Acelino Freitas.

He had a much better KO record after that win, no question. :TU:

I know Eubank could dig, but most of his title fights went the distance and Nunn had a higher KO %. His KO of Dan Sherry was pretty special.

A 'Leftfield' mention for one Joseph Bugner...absolutely blitzing the rock-hard, ex-para Richard Dunn inside a round. First, game-ending shots lands early in round one and Dunn is literally knocked clean off his feet. Notorious for jabbing his way to 'purist' points victories or losing fights when if he'd supposedly used a bit more of his speed, superior size and natural strength more assertively...Joe shot Dunn down.

Sadly for Bugner, these kind of wins just seemed to encourage the view from the man-on-the-street that he was not a fighting man and a bit of a dodger; which I still think is harsh.
