First, game-ending shots lands early in round one and Dunn is literally knocked clean off his feet. Notorious for jabbing his way to 'purist' points victories or losing fights when if he'd supposedly used a bit more of his speed, superior size and natural strength more assertively...Joe shot Dunn down.

Sadly for Bugner, these kind of wins just seemed to encourage the view from the man-on-the-street that he was not a fighting man and a bit of a dodger; which I still think is harsh.
Joe could punch a bit, he shook up Frazier and Lyle. But he would also go into his shell in fights and just box his way to a win.
I think there was a bit of bad blood between Joe and Dunn, and Joe really saw himself a level above Dunn so came out and did wanted to do a job on him.
Winston Allen found out the hard way its best not to get Bugner angry. Watch from about 2:40 onwards

A few years ago on Eurosport there was this Romainian fellow, only had something like 2 wins (no Ko's) in 30 fights.... against a decent (no great shakes) opponent. Romainian went for it, looked really ambitious - then looked like he had shot his bolt... then boom - the massive favourite out like a light.

Peter Buckley lost inside the distance 10 times in 300 bouts and 2 of them were by Duke McKenzie - Buckley said his jab was like being prodded really hard with a broom handle.
