I checked this after seeing it on another thread.

See for yourself

Its not Tyson Fury (thank f*ck for that ) as he is flying out to France for a training camp with them. He was sparring partner when they trained for Haye aswell.

A tweet further down says he hopes to be back by March. Tony Bellew is making his Cruiserweight debut in March and the bill is being announced soon. Put two and two together...................

He was pretty poor in his last fight, Mchunu outworked and outpunched him.
For whatever reason its not worked for alot of heavys coming down to cruiser weight. They seem to lose their strength and get drained during the fight.

More likely that the Fury camp are getting him a win on Tyson's next show, it will be Butlin or an Eastern European

It wont be for Bellew. Bellew will be in soft on his cruiserweight debut.

Agreed, he sucked. Anyone watching that performance would be shocked to learn that he used to be very good.

I'd like to think not but stranger things have happened. "Who did you spar for Chambers, Hughie?", "Well, I wanted to get someone in who was exactly like Chambers, so we brought in Eddie Chambers, he's so much like Chambers it's unreal."

Peter Fury says Johnson will be at heavyweight but as he's been signed by and is being trained by Peter it seems unlikely that he will be fighting either of the Furys soon - they haven't signed him to fight him, but because they like him, as a bloke and a fighter.

I seem to remember around the time haye lost his arse the first time (well for the fury jobs) that Peter mentioned a new signing was on the cards at Team Fury which would make sense as he was in camp

Oops! That's the Johnny. Not that an entire generation of American heavyweights is so bland I can't remember one over another...

desperate to salvage something, then!

very slick but poorly conditioned heavyweight. he needed to have built the foundation at cruiser, winning a title if he was good enough (or, specifically, to be able to operate at the faster pace); and then take the heavyweight beating/payday v wlad.

his career is ass-backwards and it's hard to succeed that way.
