Sports people are allowed to get on it you know Mickey. Personally I'd say it's better if a boxer stays away from alcohol & ciggies as it's the most intense & dangerous sport out there

To be fair though, atleast Rainford is honest lol. Of course it's ok to have a drink over christmas, etc, but if you've got a fight lined up then to properly get on it is very unprofessional. It's Murrays own fault really.

Maybe Rainford is Macklin in disguise????

To be fair he was first out with the original news about the Murray v Fletcher fight being on on the first place.

He obviously kens his onions about Murray.

So Murray is off the Golovkin card and could possibly be facing Sturm in Germany. It's got to be a better way than waiting for scraps off of Golovkin's table. He's a live opponent against Sturm but obviously we know the whole setup in Germany is for Sturm to win.

I think Murray had his chance against Sturm and didn't quite get over the line.

Sturm clear points this time.

I hope it isn't true pissing away a talent ..... but well always possible, I agree that the booze is the hardest sport to retire from when it has a grip on you.....

Come on Martin, focus mate, there is a word title in that locker somewhere but you need to keep chasing it for a good couple of years yet mate, you have been MIGHTY close, (I think you could and should have got the nod but in BA .... lets be serious)

Can't believe this is true. Monte Carlo was always doubtful because he damaged his hand in that warn-up fight at the Excel
