Yes kids are fighting at higher weights and kids that turned 16 at the end of 2013 are having to fight in the youth division as we'll (17-18yo) just because they we'll turn 17 within this year

Yes not every boxer is gonna win a medal, I commend and really respect every single kid who is giving thier all to compete.Actually Abc Boxing is not that bad , he is at least respectful. Its that Vidaboxing guy who is downright disrespectful and a bit disturbed to wish negative on a kid. I hope he isn't a coach. Thanks

Mike kids are fighting at higher weight classes cause if they make the team they have to maintain they're weight throughout the year for international tournaments,that's why last year when I was training Suray,he weighed 165 but moved him up to 176 since we had to plan ahead for the year and take consideration any growth spurts he might have,in fact,one kid on the Junior Team last year had to give up his spot because he couldn't make that weight class anymore

We are excited. I am bringing Sarah Abernathy she is 16 yo will be in 154 class so be looking for us all the way from Alabama! I do wish the Olympic decision makers would consider putting in more weight classes for the females... They have proven they belong in the sport

Nico Hernandez looked very ,very impressive tonite. The kids throws super ,duper power punches to head n body. First time saw him and was extremely impressed with his power and Skills

Saul Sanchez , Manjaro Hills and Suray Mahmutovic were all very very impressive. Sanchez is a beast and Hills may be the best athlete here ,and Mahmutovic did his thing.

Very good article on Wban and an Olympic Coach with 36 yrs experiene who is here at the tournament working bouts.
I just found out the officials are all volunteers,I thought sum of them got paid. These folks are putting in like 14plus hour days , truly humbling.

Caitin Orosco, Shakur Stevenson,Ruben Villa ,Isidro Ochoa and Kershawn Davis all looked very ,very good yesterday. Shakur and Ruben have been the brightest consistent performers so far at the tournament. Both southpaws are very ,very accurate and go to the body very well. Caitin Orosco is a powerful body punching force.

Saw John Luna for first time kid is like 6 ft 3 220ish very good Athlete with fast hands and Ring command

no i don't train kids i help kids thru boxing to get off the streets! Yes props to all of you for not stooping to my level. My level is hard to keep them in the gym and off the streets, drugs, stealing, and their so called friends. You guys don't even know this level. So don't stoop this low.
