Larry Smith

Does anyone have information on a fighter named Larry Smith? He fought out of Tacoma Washington during the years 1974-1979. He claimed to have fought Carlos Palomino at the Garden in 1978 or 1979. Box Rec doesn't show that fight on either his or Palomino's record. I was wondering if anyone had a Ring record book could check and see if maybe the BoxRec record is accuate on this guy.

Ring record books, cyberboxingzone and the New York Times have no record of this bout. He may have fought a Palomino in a garden, but it wasn't Carlos and it wasn't Madison Square. On the off chance everyone missed this bout, and he can provide documentation we will gladly rewrite boxing history.

Thanks I think if none of those sources have that bout listed I would say it is a real good chance it is bogus.
