Mike Perez fighting on Bute-Pascal undercard

Post by johnswan1 »

Against Carlos Takam. He says he will honour Mago.

Surprised he's out so quickly again just two months after the Mago fight where they both took a lot of punishment.

Could be a very big year for Perez if he continues to stay busy. I would not pick anybody outside of Wlad to beat him, and even that would be an interesting fight.

if he's busy and fit he is a serious contender-two big ifs but its good to see heavyweights active.

Yeah as is the case with many Cuban defectors, Mike strikes me as a bit lazy. He could do with dropping 5-10lbs. But as you say if he's in shape and keeps active the world is his oyster. He has some serious talent and despite being a relatively small heavy, I think he could beat just about all Heavyweight not named Klitschko.

I think Wlad would beat him similar to how he beat Ibragimov.

Who said that? I read elsewhere that HBO were going to show it as chief support.

perez is k2 promoted.

they will also get him on the golovkin or klitschko undercard
perez is assigned to clean the crap in heavyweight in order for wlad to take care of bigger fish (minus leapai (mandatory)

Boxing scene said before xmas that it wasn't going to be part of the televised broadcast. Hopefully that has changed.
