Care to join Boxrec and look after Victoria, so I don't have to, given they all hate me?

Just spoke with Hunter Sam, apparently knows nothing of this, nor does he want any part of it.

Best he contact promoters. Maybe his trainer agreed (of sorts) but hasn't got around to discussing it with him?

He doesn't have to. Best the promoters contacted him first. Best BoxRec done their home work before posting.

I don't stick my nose where it doesn't belong. I just simply insert what promoters give me. :P

Is it at all possible that you can just stay on the Off Topic section and talk about girls you wish you could lay, cars you wish you could afford or what's the weather like in your country. Because the only time you seem to write on the aussie forum is when you want to have a pop at other members posts. You clearly know sweet f.a about boxing otherwise you might comment on it

One bit of good news about this event is that it will be televised live on Fox Sports. These 8 man tournaments have been mooted here in the past, but have never come to fruition.

Its possible Jamie could have agreed, but I have never posted on behalf of any boxers I know, in this instance he asked me in his own words to tell that he wanted no part of it. And he knew nothing of it.

Don't really get involved in theses forums but because of the bagging on here thought I would clear things up
Angelou decarlo has accepted hunter being in the competition, yes his manager as that's the correct way to match fights
There are no opponents as the 8 fighters are drawn out in a public showing and they fight each other , in other words if Andre is drawn first and hunter second then that's who fights then 3 rd drawn fights 4 th drawn and so on so its not rigged
There are 8 fighters in the comp
Goes to the 4 winners fight
Then the 2 winners to be champion
Winners continue to next round then winners to final so 9 rounds is maximin that will be fought by any one fighter
Victoria allows you to do this type of competition
After this comp in August the 2 highest placed fight 2 from England, USA and NZ for $100,000 prize money
Few should get there facts right before commenting about our shows

OK, besides the fact that I have absolutely no idea who this clown attacking me, tsmithy50, is, I get where he's coming from, ory to all those that have put up with my vendetta against 'The Voice' aka 'Anton'. Our personal grievance shouldn't be dragged out on here. I accept that and apologize to all Australian Forum posters and readers. I will from now on reply to Anton (DaVoice) in a civilized manner.

Sorry mate, if this is directed at me, I tallk to Hunter quite regulary, fact wasas stated in my post, I was asked to notify by Hunter himself. I have asked him since if there is any substance to your statement and he has appoligized for stuffing me around. Your shows as you state have had some unbelievable articles and wraps written on websites by myself in the past. Being an advocate of Angelo, as I believe him to really understand what a fan is looking for.

I actually like these eight man tournies. Good way for fighters to have a hit out more regularly and short, sprint style fights are often more exciting.

And in quite a few cases the underdogs get through to the final, and get the chocolates, which makes these events even more enterrtaining!

This tournament could be a winner with the public. Pity this thread isn't discussing it.

Hopefully all the names listed stay in as it looks to be a strong 8 man! Will give the heavyweight divison in this part of the world a bit of a boost. I've always fancied the heavys in this format nothing better than 2 big men throwing down and with only 3 rounds they can let it all go without worrying about running out of to much steam. Would people enjoy a format where after each round the scores are announced so that the person loosing knows they need to go for broke to win it? I realise this can cause a guy who might be 2 rounds up to try cruise the 3rd to victory but more often than not we'd likely see guys a round a piece throwing the kitchen sink to try claim the 3rd and the win?

Just a idea!

I like your idea. These one night tournaments are all about KOs and excitement and I think if the crowd knew the scores it would add to the atmosphere, and as you said it would give a guy trailing 2 rounds to nil the message he had to go all out for the KO in the last.
