Bullshit hometown decisions

Post by Slapsie Maxie »

Always been a great fan of The Cat

But that was a totally bogus hometown decision

Ho hum. Plus ca change. Needs to give up now before he gets matched with a guy with real punching power and gets hurt

I thought Thompson lost but maybe a one point win could have been slightly excusable but 98-93 was a poor decision, why didn't they draft in three judges to avoid this type of decision in front of the "world".

yeah i agree i think i`ll have to start agreeing with the yanks on the current scene.
i like thompson but he definately lost that fight - i havent a clue what fight the ref was scoring with those numbers. the french guy must get shafted in almost every fight he has to be able to take that result so stoically. this is starting to become a regular occurance sadly.

this decision was worse than some of the German shockers. Even Carl looked embarrassed.

A draw would have been extremely dubious, but 98-93! That's one of the worst I've seen

Having the ref score the fight is just stupid. But, I suppose it's easier to buy out a single judge than pay for 3.
